A casual Mexican restaurant with a caribbean twist. Managed by co-owners
Jose Gomez and Javier Lopez. In 1998 we opened our original location on Halsted street of Chicago, by the name
of Tarascas Mexican restaurant. This establishment gained itself the admiration of the community of this area called
boys town for 3 years.
Tarascas Mexican restaurant
moved to 2585 N. Clark, right in the middle of Lincoln Park and Lakeview, in the year of 2001. We changed our name to Tarascas
International, offering the same upscale Mexican cuisine, but this time with a Caribbean twist.
Cocina TARASCAS stands up for its service, amiability
and delightful meals as: fajitas, carne asada, chicken, seafood and fresh guacamole. Do not forget to try our
appetizer quesadillas, these are made with different filling as your request. Tarascas also offerts great Margaritas,
including the famous jumbo 45 ½ oz. and our very own, Lincoln park best BURRITO TARASCO, made with steak
and bacon and chipotle sauce; that’s something you definitively have to taste.

offers Caribbean dishes like: Cilantro salmon wrapped in banana leaf, plantain crusted mahi-mahi filet, spicy chicken and
the very famous Caribbean chicken with peanut sauce and sweet plantains, jibaritos and cuban sanwiches. And in case you
want to have something light we offer different salads to choose from.
We have a large variety
of tequilas, wine beer, great margaritas, mojitos, tequinis, sangria and much, much more.
